Steve Weinert

Steve can’t remember a time when his family wasn’t involved in commercial roofing, with his father Bob Weinert and grandfather Spike (Leonard) Kraft leading the way for him in the industry.

Both Spike and Bob had been former presidents of Crafts Inc. 

​

After prior Crafts Inc. service, Steve was overseas for military service and university, living in several European countries. Rejoining Crafts Inc., Steve has been part of the Crafts Inc.management team since 1988.

Promoted to Vice President in 1993, by 2010 Steve had become President, leading Crafts Inc. through an ESOP transaction in 2021. In 2025 he became Chairman & Treasurer, taking a more strategic role.
